Autobots, engage brick mode!
In an iconic collaboration, the LEGO Group and Hasbro are teaming up for the first time ever to launch a new, fully converting Transformers Optimus Prime LEGO set.
This set includes more than 1,500 LEGO pieces and is one of the first LEGO models able to convert between two forms without rebuilding. Once assembled, the figure features 19 points of articulation that allow fans to convert from robot to alt mode and back again. In robot mode, Prime stands more than 13 inches tall and is armed with an ion blaster. In alt mode (a Freightliner FL86 cab modeled after the first-generation Optimus Prime) the model is about size inches high, complete with rolling wheels.
Designed for play or display, this Optimus Prime set also includes an exhibit label detailing the commander’s facts and figures to compliment the complete set on any shelf.
Priced at $169.99, the LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime set will be available globally at lego.com and in LEGO stores starting on June 1.
